Crossing the North Saskatchewan River in Prince Albert,Canada the Diefenbaker Bridge was constructed in 1959.The structure is one of the most important crossings in central Saskatchewan accessing major mining,forestry and agricultural regions of the province.On August 29th,2011 a major fracture was found in one of the two steel girders of the southbound bridge.
