As one of cable-stayed bridges with the worlds largest span,Sutong Bridge is affected by the environment quite remarkably because of the large construction area occupied.Based on statistics and analysis about the temperature data from structure health monitoring system during the year 2012,the temperature distribution at the measuring cross section of tower and mid-span girder positions is elaborated.The paper also focuses on the flat steel box girder temperature variation with time and space and its relation with the environment temperature,which can guide the temperature design of flat steel box girder.
