There has been a rapid development in porous metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) due to their high potential for diverse applications.Recently, we have successfully synthesized a number of new porous MOFs and developed new applications of MOFs as catalysts, as supports for metal nanoparticles and as templates/precursors for synthesis of nanoporous carbon materials, as well as for large molecule separation.
