　　Objective To investigate the value of speckel-type POZ protein (SPOP) in nasopharyngeal carcinoma and to study whether it is a tumor metastasis promoting actor.Method SPOP expression was analyzed in 100-paraffin-embedded nasopharyngeal carcinoma issue with complete five-year follow-up and 20 normal nepsophayngeal tissue by immunohistochemical stainning.SPOP was found to be downregulated in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue compared to normal nasopharyngeal tissue.
