Aim: Comparative evaluations of the transmembrane transport of eight cerebrovascular protection flavonoids including puerarin, rutin, hesperidin, quercetin,genistein, kaempferol, apigenin, and isoliquiritigenin, based on the cellular toxicity and lipophilicity were investigated using rat blood-brain barrier cell and Caco-2 cell monolayer model.
