During the antenatal care visits, the obstetrician is frequently faced by common question regarding the presence or absence of Congenital Fetal Anomalies.Prenatal diagnosis of fetal problems can be made early by-USG-A tailored management according to the problems results in substantial improvements in perinatal outcome for a wide range of mild and severe fetal conditions.By 11-13.6 wks onwards.It is possible to offer safe and accurate Prenatal diagnosis of Fetal structural &chromosomal abnormalities.Early Sonographic landmarks help in diagnosing pathological pregnancies and predicting the pregnancy outcome.Chorionicity is best determined in first trimester, helps in management of Monochorionic & Dichorionic twins appropriately.Fetuses that were smaller than expected in early pregnancy were at increased risk of adverse outcome like IUGR or IUD.Systematic analysis of of early embryonic heart rate will give some information about status of fetus.Lethal anomalies like anencephaly, encephalocele, cystic hygroma can be detected.Increased Nuchal Translucency will give a clue towards chromosomal abnormalities and in the presence of normal karyotype it may be associated with a structural defects and genetic syndromes and indicates detailed anatomic survey of the fetus.The desire of having normal baby is universal.It will be a tremendous socioeconomic burden looking after a child with genetic disorder or disability.Early Scan 11-13.6 weeks will be great boon it predicts Fetus at Risk..If with proper training is performed many patient will be benefited.
