1.1introduction In recent 20 years,teachers belief has become a focus in educational research and practice.Actually like Pajares words:"teachers beliefs is a confused concept" which can be defined diversely in many researches.Former researches mainly focused mainstream schools and there are very a few studies related to Han nationality teachers in minority areas.In these years,increasingly it becomes usual that more and more Han Nationality teachers are serving in numerous elementary and secondary schools of minority areas.However,this group is rarely studied before.On the other side,most researches in China on this issue were based on western psychological and educational theories without trying to understand this intercultural groups beliefs from an indigenous psychology perspective.
