Background:The interplay of virus/host proteins mediates the hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection.Host factors may provide new targets for the antiviral therapy of HBV infection.Autophagy plays a vital role in the virus infection and immune response during HBV infection caused by host factors.IKBKB(IKB kinase β) is one of the main regulatory pathway of autophagy.In recent years,various studies have established a strong link between IKBKB and hepatocellular carcinoma.But the association between IKBKB and hepatitis B has not been reported.Our objective was to investigate the association between IKBKB and HBV.
