Background and purpose: Plasma lipid profiles are regulated by diets and associated with genetic backgrounds.However, much less efforts have been made to explore the effects of diets in the subjects with different genetic backgrounds.The present study was to investigate the effects of a high carbohydrate (high-CHO) diet on the ratios of plasma lipids and apolipoproteins (apo) of the subjects with different genotypes of rs1549637 at the gene of cytosolic phospholipidase A2 (cPLA2) in healthy Chinese youth.
