Background Currently, cardiac interventional radiology equipment has tended to using flat-panel detector (FPD)instead of image intensifier charge-coupled device (Ⅱ-CCD), as FPD offer better imaging performance.However, the radiation dose from an FPD in cardiac interventional radiology is not clear.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the radiation dose to patients using flat-panel detector (FPD) and image intensifier charge-coupled device (Ⅱ-CCD) digital radiographic system in coronary angiography procedure.
