Background Transradial Access (TA) is accepted as an effective alternative to femoral approach (FA) due to fewer vascular complications (VC), less bleeding and improved comfort. In the other hand, TA has higher rate of access failure, especially in the elderly, the women and small-statured patients (p).Small-statured very elderly (VE) women are p with high risk of bleeding and VC in whom TA seems to be a good choice. However, TA is more difficult in these patients because they have smaller radial diameter, more vascular tortuosity and present more arterial spasm. We aim to assess feasibility, efficacy, safety and comfort of TA in small-statured VE women ("little old ladies").
