Chitosan composite ultraftltration (UF) membrane is prepared through composite membrane technology.The paper is focused on the modification of chitosan composite UF membrane, including adding crosslinking agent glutaraldehyde (C5H 8O2), modification agent tetraglytol (TRG), acylation agent acetyl chlorine in the casting membrane solution which is chitosan-acetic acid solution.The membrane is used for the decoloration of acid red B dye solution.Modification of chitosan composite ultrafiltration by above reagents improved the mechanical properties and separation performances.
