　　Previous studies have demonstrated that nonpathogenic Fusariurn oxysporum (Fo) can serve as a biocontrol agent for Fusarium wilt of cucumber (Fusarium oxyaporum f.sp.cucumerinum, Foc) in Taiwan.To improve the efficacy of screening nonpathogenic Fo isolates from natural environments, the modified primers, FIGS11/NPIGS-R, were found to have a high specificity for the detection of nonpathogenic Fo with biocontrol potential.
