It is well known that insulin signaling is disrupted in the brain under diabetic conditions.However,it is unclear when and where the disruption of insulin signaling occurs in the nerve system(s) during the development of insulin resistance and diabetics.Moreover,it is also unknown whether the disruption of insulin signaling in the nerve system(s) leads to lipid disorders in the brain.
