The p-spectral radius of graphs unifies several graph parameters like the number of edges and the spectral radius of the adjaceny matrix.This talk presents solutions to some classical extremal problems using the p-spectral radius instead of the number of edges.These results merge large parts of classical and spectal extremal graph theory into one.The results are joint work with Xiying Yuan and V.Nikiforov.
