Cyclic polymers are fascinating materials because they contain no chain ends.Recent advances in click chemistry methods have made possible the preparation of cyclic materials with identical molecular weights and polydispersities than their linear precursors.We have previously shown that cyclic poly(ε-caprolactones),PCLs,crystallize and melt at higher temperatures than their linear counterparts.The nucleation and crystallization kinetics of cyclic PCLs are also faster than for linear PCLs.
