We are now at a conjuncture of transition from the old culture (industrial civilization) to a new one (ecological civilization), which is an irresistible trend of history and a necessity to the advancement of human society.Eco-civilization didnt germinate first in developed countries, taking the US for example It was once reckoned that a whole new concept of ecological civilization would have sprouted first in developed countries, for industrial civilization made an early start in these countries and had already yielded crowning achievements.For another reason, ecological crisis, as a turning point and powerful motivator for a new civilization, also first happened in these countries, giving rise to environmental protection movements.In reality, the expected situation never appeared in these countries, such as the US.
