A high voltage materials LiNi0.5Mn1.2Ti0.3O4 was synthesized by a sol-gel method combined with a calcining process.The obtained sample exhibited excellent electrochemical properties.It working voltages were above 4 V and discharge capacity could reach around 134 mAh/g at a current of 0.1 C.The charge-discharge cycle performances at different currents were also tested.It demonstrated that the capacity decreased with increasing the current.Cycle voltammogram results disclosed that there were two oxidation peaks at 4.2 V and 4.85 V, two reduction peaks at 4.56 V and 3.88 V,respectively.By electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, the lithium ion diffusion coefficient was measured to be 7.66e-11 cm2/s.
