The paper aims to review the potentiality of realizing the third epoch of Confucianism in Southeast Asia as it exists in East Asia and North America today. There are three tasks to be handled in this area: First, convincing the local Chinese people of what they already live by in their greater Confucianism-based Cultural China background and identity; Second, calling for scholars for the inter-civilizational dialogue to realize the ideal coexisting civilizations in Southeast Asia consistent with the spirit of the Confucian Golden Rule; Third, reflecting on the British (Singapore and Malaysia) and Dutch (Indonesia) heritage of modernity as a part of the global reflection of the Enlightenment mentality to be re-modified from the Confucian viewpoint for our better global welfare and destiny. The potentiality, however, relies heavily upon some efforts for its realization.
