　　Near Vision Impairment(NVI)limits daily activity and reduces quality of life but poorly investigated.We conducted a population-based longitudinal study to investigate the 5-year incidence of NVI.Participants aged 35 years or older were recruited using cluster random sampling from Yuexiu District,Guangzhou in 2008.
