  The using of the machine vision in agriculture production was focused.With the development of disciplines crossing recent years,the technology-machine vision has been widely used in many aspects of the agriculture.Including automatic navigation of tractors, identification of the types and the locations of plant's diseases,the pest injure, and the pests number and species in granary and greenhouse.Machine vison plays an important role in modem agriculture,especially in pricision agriculture.But,the technology doesn't mect our expectation in pricision farming.The complex field's environment and the development of computer technology limit the application of machine vision in real field.Now, it is inevitable that the pricision farming will be the main trend.It is certainly to propose a further using of the machine vision.Especially the pest forecasting,insect prevention,accuratly spraying in wild plants control and so on are the important parts.Abviously, insects, plant disease and weeds in the field could affect the plants' growth and have a detrimental impact on crop yields and quality if uncontrolled.But the wide range of using chemicals to protect the crop to against common biotic stresses such as diseases,insect infestation and competition from weeds in the field is certainly leads the polution (emission to the air and soil) ,wastes and the residues in foods, which in turn,would also affect people's health and the environment of agricultural production.The level of production which depends on the progress of the application of the machine vision,such as breeding(Choosing the best seeds to plant), planting (Grafting the seedlings), cultivation(Navigation and supervise the seed-metering device regular work), agricultural plant protection by mechanical operation(Identify the pests,deseases and weeds,accuratly spraying)should be enhanced.Also, the date base of each crop's each insect is also a very important mission which is waiting for the machine vison to deal with.Abviously the machine vision can be used(applied) in the crop's all cultivate process.There's no doubt the machine vision will be the foundation of the further developmrnt of the pricision farming ,and it will ensure a more accurate and effective opperate,much more reduce the pesticide and fertilizer.There are some new trains of thought to take the advatage of the machine vision in agriculture production.These researces are not confined to the environment,even the features which is setted by human-such as colour, sharp or texture etc.With the develoing of the computer, picture processing particlarly stand out for the machine vison developing (Preprocessing, Segmentation, Processing Segmented Regions).The current machine vision is more close to the model of person's eyes to work.Edge orientation histograms,SIFT descriptors, shape contexts,DPM and Deep learning etc.providing a further agricultural application distance for the machine vision to go.The advantage is more effective and low to the image preprocessing requirement.It will provide a more detailed date to filed decision-making.The technology isn't limited in the use of navigating the tractors or artificial environment.The paper summed up the ways of using the machine vision in recent years, the results and the main existing problems were discussed.This paper provides some help for the research community on applying the machine vision to the crop production and pricision farming.
