  This paper Introduces to sub-millisecond polarity dependent response liquid crystal behavior using specific smectic liquid crystal materials.Using a certain smectic C phase material as a bulk,specific configuration panel condition provides polarity dependent phase modulation as well as amplitude modulation in sub-millisecond time range.
