Mobile electronic devices with liquid crystal displays(LCDs)such as cellular phones,wearable displays,smart watch and car navigation displays have become an essential part of our daily life.For outdoor applications,the ambient temperature could vary from 80℃ to-20℃.Such harsh weather conditions imposes a big challenge because the LC response time increases exponentially as the temperature decreases.
