This talk will introduce the challenging problems in data analysis for Chinese medicine, like symptom collection for four diagnosis, complex data structure in symptoms, systematic and complicated relationship between symptoms with syndromes;medical effect of formula corresponding to syndrome.We will present the progress of solving the problems by using pattern recognition problems.
