Artificial nucleases,which are designed to mimic the role of natural nucleases,have demonstrated varieties of applications.Dendrimers possess well-defined 3D structure and high density of tunable end groups.With the incorporation of metallic species,metallodendrimers have been developed as artificial enzymes,catalyst agents,sensors,and imaging agents.To investigate the potential of dendrimer complexes as artificial nuclease,we incorporated bipyridine residues to the terminal groups of G2-G6 PAMAM dendrimers.
