Hastelloy N,a solution-strengthened nickel-based superalloy,is one of the key candidate structural materials of the molten salt reactor(MSR)due to its good elevated temperature mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and small thermal expansion coefficients. However, previous studies indicated that amount of second phases are existed in Hastelloy N after solution treatment. In addition, the morphology of these second phases could be modified during deformation processing probably, resulting in anisotropy of material in further.
