　　Transformation optics(TO)is an elegant coordinate transformation technique to design the metamaterial invisibility cloak.Recently,we have developed a TO based FDTD method to numerically solve the Maxwell's equations.This method can achieve subgridding effect,by using TO to enlarge certain small regions so that they look much larger in the transformed space.In this talk,we will discuss the recent progress of TO-FDTD,its extension to space-time domain and some applications.
