　　The functionalization of degradable biomaterials with therapeutic molecules such as vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)is a key strategy to gain better regenerative ability of damaged bone tissue.The objective of this study was to investigate the feasibility of calcium sulfate hemihydrate/mineralized collagen(CSH/nHAC)as a carrier for sustained release of VEGF and in vivo bone formation capacity.
