Calcium phosphate cement(CPC)is a promising candidate for orthopedic clinical applications such as bone graft or substitution due to its high moldability,bioactivity,and biocompatibility.However,CPC has a number of problems including high brittleness,poor injectability,long setting time and low compressive strength,all of which seriously restrict its application in the repair of load-bearing bones,especially in the minimally invasive surgery of fractured vertebrae(also known as kyphoplasty).
