Fruit set and development is a process controlled by gibberellins (GAs).The molecular mechanism of GA signaling relies in the perception of the hormone by its receptor GID1 (GA INSENSITIVE DWARF1).In Arabidopsis there are three genes encoding GID 1 proteins. We aimed to understand the role of the three GID1 s during fertility and early fruit development using a combination of mutant phenotype analysis and hormone treatments, as well as to study gene expression analysis by qPCR and spatial localization by protein-GUS fusions.
