The effect of gill pin taker-in speed on yam quality was studied.The evenness and regular yam imperfection of cotton yarns respectively produced by gill pin taker-in and saw-tooth takerin under different speed of 700 r/min, 800 r/min, 1000 r/min and 1100 r/min were tested by Premier PT7000 evenness tester.
