Microemulsion electrokinetic chromatography (MEEKC) is a relatively new mode of capillary electrophoresis (CE) with many advantages such as high efficiency and selectivity, simplicity, versatility, and low sample and chiral selector consumption.Tartrate is a type of widely used chiral selector and many papers were published devoted to their use as chiral selectors, but there are only a few published papers reported the enantioseparation using tartrate chiral selector in MEEKC up to date. And there is no published paper reporting the enantioseparation using tartrate as the chiral selector in MEEKC for the enantioseparation of β-agonists.
