Recently,as a living and public light source,the high and adjustable brightness of the LED is usually demanded for widely applications.Nerveless,the maximum brightness of a single LED is limited by current density and heat generation.Usually,the forward voltage of a high power LED are typically ranging from 2.8 to 3.6 V,it means the total forward voltage of an LED string could be higher than the output voltage of most power supplies.Therefore,digital power converters are widely adopted in LED drive systems for varieties of applications and also provide a better solution of dimming.
