Polyethylene(PE)is one of the best known semi-crystalline thermoplastic,which is famous as an environmentally friendly hydrocarbon product.PE is considered a non-polar material,meaning it does not dissolve in common solvents and hardly swells.As a result,PE pipes cannot be solvent cemented.
