Statin has been widely used as anti-cancer agents,however,they do exhibit potentially severe side-effects,most prominently myopathy,polyneuropathy and tumor recurrence.Looking for possible downstream targets of mevalonate pathway,which may regulate tumor development and progression,with less side-effects and more precisely,becomes an urgent priority.
