　　Sterol regulatory element-binding proteins (SREBPs) are most important transcription factors which activate the expression of target genes involved in biosynthesis of fatty acid,triglyceride and cholesterol.By constructing reporter gene screening system,we found a natural small molecular compound,DHI,which is isolated from epimediumand identified as a novel SREBP inhibitor.
