Liquid chromatography (LC) is an essential separation tool for quantifying many kinds of compounds with high reliability.A particle packed column is commonly used in LC.However, even the best possible packed column has the limitation of separation efficiency because of the irregularity in the mobile zone. With the development of precise fabrication technology, the pillar array column in which each pillar has exact position has been developed for pressure-driven LC.Because of the perfectly ordered structures, high separation efficiency can be achieved by the pillar array column.
