　　Background: Previous studies on the association between smoking,radiotherapy,diabetes and osteoporosis and the risk of dental implant failure have reported conflicting findings.Therefore we undertook a meta-analysis to evaluate the association between smoking,radiotherapy,diabetes and osteoporosis and the risk of dental implant failure.
