Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides inhibit the production of TGF-β,IL-10 and VEGF in LA795 lung carci

  Objective: To study the effects of Ganoderma lucicum polysaccharides on the production of TGF-β, IL-10 and VEGF in LA795 lung carcinoma cells.Methodes: The LA795 cells were cultured with different concentration of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides for 48 h and the culture supernatants were collected for the detection of TGF-β, IL-10 and VEGF by ELISA assay.The LA795 cells cultured without Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides were set up as the control.Results: The level of TGF-β, IL-10 and VEGF in the culture supernatants treated with different concentration of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides was lower than that in the supematants of cotrol group, and the higher of the concentration of Ganoderma lucidum polysacchardes, the lower of the level of TGF-β and VEGF.The differences of all the groups comparing with the control were statistically significant except for the 0.2μg/ml concentration of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides for TGF-β and both 0.2μg/ml and 0.8μg/ml concentration of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides for IL-10 and VEGF (all p<0.05).Conclusion Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides may inhibit the level of TGF-β, IL-10 and VEGF produced by LA795 lung carcinoma cells.
