A pilot scale anaerobic digestion experiment of Chinese cabbage waste was investigated through a two-phase digester at mesophilic temperature of 37℃,in the adicifer,the main acidification product was acetic,which achieved the maximum concentration of 4289mg/L in the fourth day,about 50.32%of the tVFAs,and the ORP and NH4+-N decreased gradually with the prolongation of acidification HRT,in the second phase,the optimum OLR was 3.5~4kgVS/m3 with the corresponding HRT of 12~16 days and maximummethanogenic bacterial concentration was 9.6×1010,meanwhile,the average optimal biogas production was 0.62m3/with methane content of 65%~68%,the ORP and NH4+-N in the methanizer was between-500mv~-560mv and 2000~4500mg/l repectively.The main methanogens in AD was methanosaeta and methanosarcina.
