Chemical-looping gasifcation(CLG)using sawdust of pine as fuel was investigated in 10 kWth interconnected fluidized-bed reactor with iron based oxygen carriers(OC).The effects of the operation temperatures and biomass feeding rate on the gas composition, gasification efficiency and carbon conversion rate of biomass were investigated.Meanwhile, the fresh and used OC particles were characterized by means of XRD,SEM and BET.The results indicated that biomass was partially oxidized to convert into syngas by the lattice oxygen of OC and the content of CO、H2、CH4 in the syngas as well as carbon conversion rate and gasification efficiency all increased with the increase of operating temperature, while, the CO2 concentration decreased for the reason of exothermic reaction. There was an optional value of feeding rate at 1.75kg/h corresponding to the maximum carbon conversion rate and gasification efficiency.
