An interesting physical phenomenon of the laser energy absorption in collinear double-pulse laser induced breakdown spectroscopy has been observed directly.Its found that the absorbed energy of the second laser pulse in the plum of the plasma produced by the first laser pulse strongly dependents on the inter-pulse delay time between two laser pulses.
