Using the nonequilibrium Greens function (NEGF) method combined with density functional theory, we present electron transport properties for a molecular device constructed by a phenylene ethynylene oligomer (OPE) molecular between two zigzag-edge graphene electrodes.It is found that the nitrogen-doped case at the center of zigzag-edge graphene electrodes has a higher rectification ratio than the edge nitrogen-doped one.
