  Acyl cyanide was chosen as the nucleating agent to enhance the crystallization rate of bacterially synthesized P34HB, through blending both on blender at determined temperature for several minutes.The DSC characterizations of the pure P34HB and its blends with different wt.% of nucleating agent showed that acyl cyanide was helpful for the movement of P34HB macrmolecular chains and so as to enhance the ordered arrangement of P34HB in a relatively shorter time during the cooling process, as well as helpful for the increase of crystallinity of P34HB.
