In this study, a partial graphitic hierarchical porous carbon nanofiber (PGHPCNF) is prepared via eletrospinning followed by pyrolysis, KOH activation and acid treatment. The as-obtained carbon nanofiber combines important determining factors of the performance of electrode materials, such as high degree of graphitization, large surface area (2721 cm2 g-1) with hierarchically distributed pore sizes (micro-, meso-and macropores coexist in PGHPCNF, average pore diameter is 2.47 nm), which synergistically contribute to their impressive electrochemical properties.
