目前研究表明,蛋白-RNA相互作用在很多生物过程中发挥重要作用。例如,CsrB是长度为360nt的大肠杆菌小调控RNA,通过与蛋白CsrA的结合来调节糖原的代谢,当过表达CsrB时,由于CsrB与CsrA的结合,导致CsrA抑制糖原合成功能丧失,最终促进糖原合成。
