Xiajin is an early maturing and facility cultivation oriented apricot variety selected from excellent individuals of Jintaiyang species.Under the greenhouse conditions,the florescense of Xijin is 3~5 days later than that of Jintaiyang;with a short fruit development period,only 58 days,the fruits of Xiajin are matured about 7 days earlier than that of Jintaiyang;the average fruit weight of Xiajin is 90.42g,22g heavier than that of Jintaiyang,and the weight of its biggest fruit is 114.7g;the dormant period of Xiajin is very short with a very limited chilling requirement,and in low temperature environment,≤7℃,400 hours is enough for it to pass through the dormant period and bloom and bear fruits normally;the percentage of full flowers with pistils longer than or equal to stamens is over 90%,and that with pistils shorter than stamens or degraded stamens is lower than 10%.
