Dielectric permittivity,depolarization current,hysteresis loops of polarization and strain,structure,grain morphology,and piezoelectric coefficient(d33)of 0.5 mol%Mn4+-doped(1-x)(Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3-xBaTiO3(x=0.0 and 0.075)polycrystalline ceramics have been characterized systematically.BNT7.5B and BNT7.5B-0.5Mn exhibit wide dielectric thermal hystereses respectively in the regions of 100-320 ℃ and 30-340 ℃ suggesting a first-order broad diffuse transition with coexistence of R(rhombohedral)and T(Tetragonal)phases.
