Germplasm is crucial to many studies of plants and animals, including, but not limited to, genetics, genomics and breeding, cloning and characterization of genes and QTLs (quantitative trait loci) of economic importance,and analysis of the molecular mechanisms underlying a biological process or a trait development.Nevertheless,little is known about the cultivars and germplasm of Ginseng growing in Jilin and their genetic relationships.
