　　Nitrification mediated by ammonia-oxidizing bacteria(AOB)and ammonia-oxidizing archaea(AOA)is important in nitrogen transformation.The influence of Vallisneria natans(V.natans)on the abundance and community composition of AOB and AOA in sediments was examined by quantitative PCR and clone library analyses based on the ammonia monooxygenase α-subunit(amoA)gene.
